In Fast-Track to Property Millions, the Real Estate Wealth Development (REWD) Group share their expertise and discuss the essential knowledge required to succeed in the world of property. Real Estate Wealth Development, better known as the REWD Group, is one of Britain’s most exciting and successful property development companies. A Burns Night Haggis Space Odyssey
25th January 2022 Happy Burns Night! As millions across the globe prepare to raise a glass in remembrance of Scotland's national bard, Robert Burns, let's not forget last year's history-making event when the famous firm of butchers, Simon Howie, launched a haggis into space for the first time. Rocketing from the company's headquarters in Dunning thanks to a special orbital launcher operated by Stratonauts, the haggis reached the very edge of space and travelled across various Scottish locations such as Stirling, Falkirk and Edinburgh before safely making touchdown in Lauder. This amazing achievement was reported far and wide, and ensured that Simon Howie had immortalised Burns Night as a truly out of this world event! This story, and many other little-known tales from around Central Scotland, are related in Secrets and Mysteries of the Heart 200 Route by Thomas A. Christie and Julie Christie. For more information about the book, please visit its page. |

David M. Addison, 1947-2022
11th January 2022 It is with much sadness that we must announce the death of our dear friend David M. Addison, who has passed away after a short battle with illness. David was the first author to sign with Extremis Publishing, and his book An Innocent Abroad: Award-Winner's Edition was the first book that our company released back in 2015. In his time working with us, we published a number of David's books on travel - a subject that was always dear to his heart. This included An Innocent Abroad and Still Innocent Abroad, his reflections on a teacher exchange visit to the American State of Montana in the 1970s; Travels Through Time in Italy and Travels Around Sorrento, which related his journeys around Italy; and his celebrated cultural and historical commentaries on Scotland's road trips which included Exploring the NC500, Exploring the SWC300 and Exploring the Snow Roads. David wrote several other books in his lifetime, including volumes describing his time in Cuba and the Mediterranean as well as his well-received biography, Confessions of a Banffshire Loon, in which he documented his youth in the Scottish North-East. But David’s contribution to literature didn’t stop with his books. In 2015 he was invited to contribute to the prestigious Coldnoon International Journal of Travel Literature by its founder and editor in chief, Professor Arup Chatterjee. Published by Jindal Global University at Sonipat near New Delhi, the Coldnoon Journal is respected throughout the world for its celebration of scholarly writing on the subject of travel, and David published a number of essays with them over the years which gained him a whole new audience of admirers. David Addison was a unique literary figure, and we consider it an honour and a pleasure to have spent so many years working with him. In his unstinting commitment to his craft, the warmth of his wit, and his obvious affection and respect for literature the world over, he influenced countless people and will be greatly missed. |
