Addison, his wife Iona and children Helene and George, temporarily leave their comfortable life in Central Scotland to travel to beautiful Missoula, Montana. There, David will be taking up a teacher exchange position for a year. David chronicles his first few months in Montana in his award-winning book An Innocent Abroad, where we read about his often-humorous exploits and observations as he and his family settle into life in the USA of the 1970s. Hitting the Road
16th September 2015 Intrepid travel author David M. Addison will be travelling through the north of Scotland during September as part of the research for his new book about the famous Route NC500. He will be visiting many historical sites and other features of interest on the route, so if you should see him on his travels do remember to wave or say hello! |
